Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup grated carrot
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 4 burger buns
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sriracha sauce
- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 4-8 pickled jalapeo slices
- Fresh cilantro sprigs, for garnish
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix ground pork, breadcrumbs, cilantro, grated carrot, minced garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, and sugar
Form the mixture into 4 burger patties
Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through
While the patties cook, split and lightly toast the burger buns
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and sriracha sauce to make a spicy mayo
To assemble the burgers, spread the spicy mayo on the bottom half of each bun
Place a cooked pork patty on top of the mayo, then add cucumber slices, pickled jalapeos, and cilantro sprigs
Top with the other half of the bun
Serve the Banh Mi Burgers hot and enjoy!
